Supporting moments
of stillness

Meditation is not just a relaxation technique, it is a form of ‘strength training’ for the mind.

We, the Beadsenlight team, believe in the power of meditation. Our purpose is to help you on your journey into the light by using our malas with your meditation practice.

‘The deeper you meditate and the more willingly you serve, the happier you will be.’

Handcrafted and blessed by a family of artisans in India

We are a team of women/men in Khajuraho, India, who love to make beautiful handmade gemstone jewelry and other handcrafted items.

We put all our love, attention and energy in the creation of a beautiful product.

Before our products leave our home, we make sure to give them the best energy by energizing them with a blessing ceremony. Mantras, smoke and rituals are used in this ceremony.

The power of Mala meditation

A mala is a string of (mostly) 108 beads and 1 so called ‘Guru bead’. The number 108 signifies wholeness, connecting to 108 energy channels (nadis) in the body and 108 Upanishads (ancient Indian philosophical, mystical and sacred texts).

A mala can be used as a tool for keeping the mind focussed during the Mantra practice meditation.

The Mantra practice meditation is also called ‘Japa’. With the mala in the hand, the mantra is repeated 108 times. The mala helps the meditator to track repetitions with less mental distractions.
